Technical writing
Modern businesses use Technical Writers extensively to
communicate information to management, employees and
occasionally to those outside the business. Technical Writers
must take complex information and through their communication
skills deliver a message so that it is clear, concise and, most
importantly, helpful to the readers that it is intended for.
Although distinctly different to creative writing, a Technical
Writer must retain a degree of creativity to engage with the
intended audience so that readers understand and assimilate the
